Empteezy's wide range of ANSI Z358.1 compliant ceiling, wall and free-standing emergency drench showers are available with ABS plastic fittings or fully stainless steel.

Emergency showers are an essential piece of equipment for labs, construction sites, factories, chemical plants and any type of industrial surrounding working or storing hazardous substances. They provide an immediate source of decontamination in the event of an accident that has resulted in direct human contact with hazardous chemicals or substances.

Emergency showers are designed to wash an individual's entire head and body with tepid water to expel the hazardous substances off of the body and minimise the effects of damage that can potentially be caused. They require a water source to be connected to for water to flow freely. Showers are an essential piece of equipment required to deal with this danger as soon as possible and should be located close to the identified potential danger area. The wall & ceiling-mounted showers are activated by a pull handle. The free-standing showers also have a pull handle however some also have a foot treadle for easy activation. Others also possess an eyewash basin which can be activated using a push paddle.
