Bunded Steel Spill Flooring

Manufactured by Emtez, our bunded steel spill flooring is certainly up there for its durability & quality in creating a safer extended work space. Bunded spill flooring in general is useful for creating an extended floor space which can contain any leaks, drips or spills inside the bund of each floor panel. For our steel range, containers & drums sit on top of a removeable (making it easier to clean) galvanised steel grid mesh panel to separate the containers from the bund. The bund contains pollutants from spreading into drainage systems while protecting the immediate surrounding area also which could include machinery or staff.

Although the spill flooring is manufactured separately, joining strips can be manufactured too (if requested at the order stage) to allow multiple panels to be connected and therefore creating a larger work area and more bunding allowing for more storage. Additional ramps are also available to aid the transport of containers and drums onto the bunded spill flooring.

Manufactured from steel plate and fully seam welded, this often provides a more “premium” solution to plastic spill flooring by offering further chemical compatibility. Our secondary containment systems assist you in adhering to COSHH regulations.
