This bunded compound is built to accommodate ninety-six 205ltr drums on twenty-four pallets. The unit has a modular design comprising of three twin compartments, two tier units arranged in a horseshoe configuration. Each pallet location can be accessed internally and the entire structure is roofed to protect the contents from the elements.
Constructed from modular units the compound has a 80 x 80mm RHS frame, fully seam welded sumps, corrugated sides, back panel, twin sliding front doors and a central roof.
The sump is braced with additional profiled ribs and fitted with galvanised grid mesh decks. Full width plinths are fitted to the underside to eliminate contact with the ground. Each section is shot blasted before painting and the underside of the sumps are given a coat of bitumen sealer.
Notes: You will need to supply a sound level concrete base a minimum of 200mm thick to which the units will be bolted during construction. You may specify your own colour at additional cost, but will need to supply us with a RAL or BS number.
