Product Overview
We offer a range of containment booms suitable for different conditions: fence booms, curtain booms and air containment booms.
A containment boom provides a temporary floating barrier which allows you to reduce the possibility of polluting shorelines and other resources, and makes the recovery of oils easier in the event of a spill.
The reduced volume of an air filled containment boom is an asset when it has to be transported to a new location. In addition this containment boom is particularly suited to open water where its high buoyancy to weight ratio assists its performance in the water and it has excellent UV and chemical resistance.
Fence Booms are lightweight, easy to use and ideal for deploying from a reel. They take up very little storage space and can be easily transported to a new location. Please note that fence booms are not recommended for towing at sea.
A Curtain containment booms have a high buoyancy to weight ratio and respond well to wave action making them ideal in inland or sheltered water applications such as a harbour. They have excellent UV and chemical resistance.
A Permanent containment boom is robust and hard-wearing makingĀ it suitable for long term deployment.
