Position: Territory Sales Manager

Remuneration Package: Basic + un-capped commission + company car + company fuel card + full out of pocket expenses and full communications package: mobile phone, laptop etc.

Empteezy® is the home of quality engineered spill containment and spill control products and our overriding aim is to help customers comply with legislation and implement best practice in connection with oil and chemical storage, spill response programs; including spill kits & spill kit training, emergency safety shower and tank shower applications and waste handling projects.

With our products tailored to meet the requirements of a variety of different working environments including industrial, commercial, military, marine and educational setting, we manufacture in excess of 70% of the products available in our portfolio in our own factories, making us well placed to provide expert advice on how our products can help meet UK, EU and International Standards relating to spill containment and spill control of hazardous liquids.

Empteezy® is the only company within the spill control and spill containment sector to be accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 18001 International Standards and uses the vast array of experience it has amassed over the years to provide practical advice over the phone or by email, regular blogs on industry related topics, a web based advice centre and free of charge confidential site assessments with detailed follow-up reports.

Role Overview:

A prerequisite for the role is a proven background in B2B sales as the role involves working with our existing customer base to grow sales and exploiting new openings to help with the expansion of the business.

The ideal candidate will be a self starter prepared to work irregular hours as the role requires someone who is prepared to be flexible and adapt to maximise business opportunities, this will also involve some periods of time spent away from home.

Candidates will be used to working to deadlines and targets, be conversant with Word, Excel and Outlook, used to providing written reports and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of sales success in their career to date.

Location is flexible but ideally the candidate will be based in and around the M62 corridor, South Yorkshire or the North Midlands.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting our existing customers
  • Keeping our product portfolio at the forefront of customers minds
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Supporting accounts with product training and carrying out site visits

The candidate will be fully supported in the role but will be accountable for their own time management as the role encompasses customers throughout the north of England.

Candidates must:

  • Be eligible to live and work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be organised and have excellent attention to detail
  • Have experience of B2B sales
  • Be used to working unsupervised from a home office
  • Be used to providing written reports and compiling detailed quotations
  • Have a working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Have the ability to maintain and develop business relationships
