In aid of homeless charity Social Bite, Empteezy Group Managing Director, Bruce Wishart will be joining 100 other CEOs from Scotland's top companies in braving the Scottish winter and 'sleeping rough' to raise much-needed funds to help the homeless.
The Social Bite Effect
In 2014 the public donated a staggering 35,000 meals for the homeless via Social Bite and in 2015, 72,900 meals were banked for homeless people in Scotland and refugees overseas. This year Social Bite are set to make even more of an impact as they focus on longer term strategies to break the cycle of homelessness.
Breaking The Cycle of Homelessness For Good
This Christmas Social Bite is raising money for employment programs for Scotland’s most vulnerable people. They also plan to build a village with houses built from shipping containers, for 20 homeless individuals to live for 12 months. This village will not only put roofs over people’s heads but will also be paired with full support to help them get back on their feet.
The sleep out event will take place on Thursday, December 15th in Edinburgh's Charlotte Square and runs from 7pm - 7am. Please give generously!
